Hi, Copying an account won't create a mailbox. You will need to open ADUC on the exchange server, find the user and use Exchange tasks to create a mailbox. Leif

Hi, You can create as many accounts as you want. Did you check if there is a mailbox created for this user? Leif

Hi Leif, As i understand it, a mailbox is created as the user logs in for the first time (I'm proberbly wrong). No mailbox appears in the "Exchange System Manager" I have even created a new profile not a copy with the same results. Is there a trick im missing or a problem between my AD and ESM. Russ

Hi, First you must create a mailbox in active directory users and computers, then the physical mailbox will be created when you start utlook for the first time. Start ctive Directory users and omputers on the exchange server, selecet the user in question, rightclick and select exchange tasks and select create mailbox if possible. Leif

Hi, I created a e-mail address on the profile under the General tab. If I RMC on the user there is no option for "create Mailbox".... I have just realised we navigated to "AD Users & Computers" through a shortcut and some of the functionality was not there, (VMWare). Once I got into AD the correct way by remote Desktop I could create a mailbox and all is well. Thankyou for your help Leif it was much appreciated. RussellMr. Russell Page MInstRE
